Gospel singer Tim Godfrey has reflected on the moment he saw Davido vibing to his song during the music star’s recent white wedding in Miami.

According to Tim Godfrey, this moment stirred something within him, reminding him of his calling to influence the world and spread the gospel.

He emphasised that not all gospel artists are meant to stay within the church; some are called to reach a broader audience through mainstream channels.

Tim Godfrey stressed that his mission is to reach people beyond the church walls, and he won’t be limited by traditional labels.

He wrote: “This really stirred something within me; many of us don’t understand why we do what we do. We are called to influence the world and take over it for Christ!

"I’m not going to play small about my labour for the gospel because the church is yet to see that not all of us are called for the four corners of the church! Some of us are sent mainstream to reach out to the stray.

“I do not stand for the label that stops me from reaching the generation and people God has released us to reach in Acts 1:8

“It doesn’t have to sound like church to be God Orchestrated.

“My name is Dr. Tim Godfrey, and I have NO LABEL but The Gospel!”.

Recall that on Sunday, August 10th, the singer and his wife, Chioma held their white wedding ceremony in Miami.

The likes of Dangote, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, Obi Cubana and his wife, Dbanj and his wife, Uche Jombo, Zlatan and wife, and more were in attendance.
