Uriel Oputa, the reality star and singer, has spoken out following the death of her uncle, veteran Nollywood actor Fabian Adibe, who passed away at the age of 82.
In a heartfelt Instagram story, Uriel hinted at her disappointment with those who never checked on her late uncle while he was alive, yet may now try to display “fake love.”
She wrote: “I’m just waiting for the fake love to start. I can’t say much out of respect, but you see this one here, it’s very personal to me.
"Nobody checked on my uncle.
"To my bestie Chi and her sister NK, God bless you both for what you did for Popsi. Rest on sir.”
Fabian Adibe, fondly remembered for his role in Things Fall Apart and other Nollywood classics, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
