A man has left his community members in shock as he brutally stabbed his mother to death after receiving a prophecy from his man of God.

A man has brutally stabbed his mother to death following a prophecy he received from a man of God. The forty one year old trader in Kumasi, Isaac Adu is in the grips of the Asokwa Police for stabbing his 77-year old mother to death, AdomOnline reports.

The incident occurred at Gyinyase in the Kumasi metropolis of the Ashanti Region in Ghana last Saturday. It was revealed that the late Ama Akyaa was eating when Adu attacked her.

She was stabbed at the right side of the chest region leading her to lose much blood and eventually bleed to death.

Speaking about the incident, Asokwa Police Commander, DSP George Collins Bawa said that  Isaac Adu, who is ‘mentally unstable’, first stabbed his other brother, Charles Adu who is a teacher.
“It was while Charles was at the Police Station filing a complaint of the attempt on his life that news came in that Isaac has also attacked his mother and killed her…,” DSP George Collins Bawa of the Asokwa Police command said.

He further revealed that Isaac Adu is believed to have launched the attack on the two following a prophecy given him by a yet to be disclosed prophet that his mother and brother were behind his predicaments in life.

The body of the deceased mother has since been deposited at the mortuary.
