Controversial actor Uche Maduagwu has tendered an unreserved apology to veteran actress Rita Edochie.
In a open letter, he apologized for previously criticizing her.
Taking to Instagram, Uche admitted to making “mistakes” and praised Rita as a rare gem in the Edochie family.
He wrote: “Aunty Rita, I’m sorry for all I said about you, even King Solomon with all the wisdom God give am still made mistakes. What makes us strong is ability to know we made mistakes and be humble enough to ask for forgiveness.”
Describing Rita as a “shining light” and a blessing, he added:
“Every family needs a shining light like you… She’s a shining light wey dey make darkness run kitikata. She has a good heart, no darkness fit stay where she stays because she is a light in that family.”
Alongside his message, Uche shared a photo of Rita with the inscription: “Aunty Rita you are a great light wey dey make darkness run kitikata.”
