A young mother who was apparently displeased with her innocent baby boy, has brutally murdered the young toddler in cold blood inside her home.

The 25-year-old Yakura Idi, woman, who hails from Gwange Ward, Damaturu, Yobe state has been arrested for allegedly killing her eight-month old son, Mohammed Idi.
A statement by the Yobe state police commissioner, Zannah Ibrahim, says Yakura was arrested after she used a knife to kill her son and then buried his corpse in a shallow grave in her family compound.
The remains of the baby has been exhumed and will undergo autopsy while the stained knife has been kept as an exhibit.
Her reason for committing this heinous crime is yet unknown.
