Eyewitnesses confirmed the incident to Parallel Fact News, though the exact number of casualties and the precise location have not been disclosed.
Survivors are said to be receiving medical attention at nearby facilities.
Recall that a few weeks ago, a Dangote truck struck Ruth Otabor, sister of Big Brother Naija winner Phyna, in Edo State, resulting in her death.
Also in April 2024, another Dangote truck collided with a Toyota Hiace bus on the Okene-Lokoja highway, k!lling 19 people.
The repeated occurrence of such accidents has sparked widespread outrage among Nigerians.
