Former Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), Sam Amadi has frowned at President Bola Tinubu's recent vacation to Europe.
According to him, the President by his own action has shown that he doesn't have the strength to govern Nigeria and deserves to rest.
Recall that the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a statement on Thursday, announced that Tinubu departed Abuja on September 4 to begin a 10-day working vacation in Europe as part of his 2025 annual leave.
According to the statement, the president will spend the period between France and the United Kingdom before returning to Nigeria.
Reacting to the development in a post via π, Amadi wrote, βThe president and his team continue to make a strong case why he should not be reelected.
βHe has no strength for the hard work required for that office now. He loves, and probably needs, a lot of rest.β
