Sixteen Rescued As Gunmen Abduct Passengers Along Benin Expressway (Video)

Sixteen passengers who were abducted from a commercial bus along the Benin–Iyere Agbanikaka Oluku Road in Edo State on Friday, September 5, have been rescued.

A video of other commuters of the road moments after the abduction occured, made the rounds on social media this morning. According to reports, the abduction occurred at about 4.30pm.

Reacting via his X handle, Yamu wrote; ‘’Sixteen of the victims have been rescued so far, as search and rescue operation by @EdoPoliceNG continue''
