Residents of Oworosonki Block 3rd Mainland Bridge to Protest Demolition of Their Homes by the Lagos Govt

The demonstration, which began at dawn, caused severe gridlock on the busy bridge and left many motorists stranded and seeking alternative routes.

 
Residents of Oworonshoki in Lagos state have occupied the 3rd mainland bridge to protest the demolition of their homes by the state government.
 
The residents protested on Monday, while accusing the state government of demolishing their houses without proper notice or compensation, leaving many families homeless. 
 
Carrying placards, they demanded accountability and immediate intervention.
 
The demonstration, which began at dawn, caused severe gridlock on the busy bridge and left many motorists stranded and seeking alternative routes.
 
Security operatives were later deployed to restore order and clear the road for traffic flow.
