She went on to recall how supportive her mother-in-law has been since her wedding day.
Nollywood actress Ivie Okunaye has taken to social media to celebrate her mother-in-law, revealing the role she plays in keeping her son's house at peace.
In a post on her Instagram, she revealed that her husband’s mother always takes her side whenever there’s tension in her marriage.
“Every time me and my husband have an argument, I always win. Do you know why? As soon as my mother-in-law senses any tension, she will call him and say, ‘My son, your wife’s happiness is the home’s happiness. Please, please, please,’” Ivie revealed.
She went on to recall how supportive her mother-in-law has been since her wedding day.
“When I was getting married, I couldn’t cook. She said, ‘Don’t worry.’ Every week, she brings afang soup, efo riro. Anything I need, this woman is there. She tells me, ‘All this exercise you’re doing, you’re looking fine. Look at your belly, look at your legs. Dress up, let my son remember he married a fine woman.’”
The actress couldn’t stop gushing, describing her husband’s mum as “the best mother-in-law ever.”
“Her birthday month is coming and we are going to spoil her,” Ivie added excitedly.
Ivie also hyped her mother-in-law’s stunning figure, telling fans to take a good look at her.
“Look at my mother-in-law’s shape. Oh my God. Mama, may I turn around? Let them see. Look at the figure. It’s all natural,” she said in the viral clip.
