He was attacked and shot d3ad by unknown assailants in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau state near the gate of the Rukuba Barracks in Agingi Kisaloi area of Bassa around 7pm on Monday, September 8, 2025.
According to reports, the assailants made away with his motorcycle after k!lling him.
Reports say the area has seen a resurgence of criminal activities, including kidnappings and robbery in the last few weeks.
It was further gathered that a Corps member was kidnapped in the area a few days ago.
Last month, the Plateau State Police Command arrested suspected armed robbers terrorising communities in Bassa LGA.
