Kwankwaso disclosed that NNPP members must be united and work together for the party to win elections in 2027.

The National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso has revealed that the party is capable of winning the 2027 presidential election.

This is as he outlined measures the party must adopt to win the 2027 presidential election.

Kwankwaso spoke during an interactive session with NNPP stakeholders in Cross River State on Tuesday.

According to him, NNPP members must be united and work together for the party to win elections in 2027.

However, the former Kano State governor expressed confidence in the leadership of the party.

Kwankwaso said: “Let me thank you for what you did during the last election in 2023. I urge you to work harder so that by the grace of God our party, the NNPP will win election in Cross River and Nigeria.

“Ensure unity within the party especially now that we have a new big office in Calabar and many local government areas across Cross River state.”

There has been claims that Kwankwaso may join the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2027.

Reports claimed that the former presidential candidate may work with President Bola Tinubu during the 2027 presidential election.

Commenting on this, Kwankwaso’s close ally and Kano House of Representatives member, Abdulmumin Jibrin, hinted on the possibility of a defection before the elections.

Jibrin disclosed that the doors are not closed yet for Kwankwaso’s possible move to the APC.
