Hilda Baci: Jollof Is Ready, Where Are You - Wike’s Aide Mocks Amaechi, Obi, Momodu

Recall that Amaechi had recently criticized President Bola Tinubu over the state of Nigeria, stressing that he and Nigerians are hungry.

On Saturday, Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, took a swipe at three Nigerian politicians.

Olayinka used Hilda Baci’s feat at the world jollof festival to mock former Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi; ex-Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; and Dele Momodu.

Recall that Amaechi had recently criticized President Bola Tinubu over the state of Nigeria, stressing that he and Nigerians are hungry.

Amaechi’s remark had led to criticism from Wike and Olayinka in the past.

However, Olayinka while posting on X, wrote: “Jollof Rice is ready in Lagos, where is Rotimi Amaechi? Make nobody tell us he is hungry again ooo.

“Hilda Baci will still explain how she cooked that plenty Jollof Rice and didn’t invite Egbon Dele Momodu. Ko nice nah.

“Hilda Baci wan cook plenty Jollof Rice like that, she no invite Mr one shoe alias Agbotikuyo, Nija’s number one events planner and server of food. Ko nice nah.”


The renowned Nigerian celebrity chef had cooked 200 bags of rice in a massive pot during the world Jollof festival in Lagos on Friday.

Baci secured the Guinness world record of cooking the world’s largest pot of Jollof Rice.
