Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya has revealed that she embraced Islam after her marriage, even though she was born into a Christian family.

The producer said her decision was personal and centered on her relationship with God.

She stressed that what matters most is love, humanity, and how people treat one another.

She said that religion should not be seen as a competition, conflict, or debate but as a way of life rooted in peace and compassion.

Shokoya also emphasized that she does not discriminate between religions, adding that her approach to worship is based on personal comfort and connection with God.

She maintained that humanity should come first in all interactions, regardless of religion, tribe, or background.
