2025 World Championships: Nathaniel Cruises Into Men’s 400m Hurdles Final

The 22-year-old made history as the second Nigerian to qualify for the final of the event in the history of the World Athletics Championships.

 
Nigeria's Ezekiel Nathaniel has cruished his way into the final of the men’s 400m hurdles at the 2025 World Athletics Championships on Wednesday.
 
This comes after he won the semi-final race with a time of 47.47s.
 
The 22-year-old made history as the second Nigerian to qualify for the final of the event in the history of the World Athletics Championships.
 
Henry Amike was the first Nigerian to achieve the feat at the 1987 edition hosted in Rome, Italy.
 
The final of the men’s 400m hurdles will hold on Friday.
 
Nathaniel will be looking to become the second Nigerian to win a medal at the ongoing Championship following Tobi Amusan’s silver medal feat on Monday.
