A businessman, Marwan Usman has been disfigured by suspected phone snatchers in Katsina state.
This comes after he was brutally attacked and injured as the thieves attempted to snatch his phone.

Narrating the ordeal, Marwan said the assailants struck while he was refilling his generator to continue his night business operations.
The hoodlums demanded his mobile phone, but he resisted giving it to them.
In retaliation, the attackers inflicted multiple machete cuts on him before fleeing the scene without successfully taking the phone.
