Two Popular Banks Return Billions of Diezani's Slush Funds Used to Acquire Le Meridien Hotel (Photo)

In yet another shocking revelation, two of Nigeria's popular leading banks has returned multi-billion naira slush funds former oil minister used to acquire Le Meridien Hotel in Portharcourt.

 
According to series of Tweets by SaharaReporters, Fidelity Bank Plc has so far returned $198million to the President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government from former minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Madueke.
 
"FLASH: @fidelitybankplc has so far refunded $198million to the Nigerian govt. from Ex-oil minister Diezani Alison-Madueke's slush funds," the publication tweeted.
 
In yet another revelation, the popular online news platform, said that the former Nigerian oil Minister, Diezani bought Le Meridien Hotel in Port Harcourt through First Bank's ED Dauda Lawal.
 
"FLASH: Ex-Nigerian oil Minister Diezani bought Le Meridien Hotel in Port Harcourt via @FirstBankngr ED Dauda Lawal," the publication tweeted.
 
The final tweet read; "FLASH: Le Meridien Hotel in Port Harcourt via @FirstBankngr ED Dauda Lawal has refunded the money used buy hotel to the Nigerian government."
