Tinubu Now Fubara’s New Master In Rivers – Aisha Yesufu Says

Aisha Yesufu, a prominent sociopolitical activist, has shared her reaction to the resolution of the political crisis in Rivers State.

Yesufu disclosed that President Bola Tinubu is now the new master of Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State.

Recall that Tinubu had suspended Fubara six months ago following the political crisis with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

The president also imposed an emergency rule in Rivers State while appointing a sole administrator.

Last week, the president reinstated Fubara and lifted the state of emergency.

With his reinstatement, both Wike and Fubara said they have resolved their differences and peace has returned to the state.

On Tuesday, Fubara met with Tinubu behind closed doors in Abuja.

Posting on X, Yesufu wrote: “Wike handed his hold over Rivers State directly to Tinubu! Fubara got a new Master.”
