Two terrorists have been k!lled by troops of Sector 3 Operation Hadin Kai.
This is as the Boko Haram terrorists (BHTs) attempted to infiltrate Charlie 13 in Gana Ari, Monguno Local Government Area of Borno State.
The incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025.
It was gathered that the terrorists attempted to breach the location but were swiftly engaged by the troops with support from reinforcements.
“During the encounter, two terrorists were neutralised. The troops also recovered two AK-47 rifles, six magazines, one hand grenade, a Boefeng radio, a bottle of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), 67 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, and a bandolier bag. “Exploitation is ongoing in the area,” a security source said.
The source added that the troops remained on high alert to forestall further infiltration attempts in Monguno axis.
