Beauty entrepreneur and influencer, Laura Ikeji, has opened up about the challenges faced by hardworking women in a society that often values looks and connections more than genuine effort.

In a recent post, Laura lamented how, in today’s Nigeria, many women who don’t work hard often live more comfortably than those who hustle daily to make an honest living.

She said: “In a country where girls who do not work earn more than girls who work hard… In a country where girls will be fine and make so much money because they are fine… In a country where girls will date certain men and be wealthy from dating certain men without working hard… Please, if you have a woman in your life that is working hard, buy from them. It’s not easy.”

Laura went on to encourage Nigerians to support women who have chosen the legit path, saying that despite all the temptations to chase fast money, many still choose to work for every naira they earn.
