Shank alleged that the dealer, Abana Cars, has refused to refund him two months after he returned the car.
Skitmaker, Shank Comics has accused car dealer, Abana Cars of refusing to refund him N123 millon after selling him a faulty Mercedes AMG Coup.
Shank took to social media to call out Abana Cars, revealing that he has failed to refund him after two months.
Shank explained that he bought the car in July 2025 as a personal gift but noticed mechanical problems immediately upon its arrival in Lagos. The dealer initially claimed it was a minor fan issue and took the vehicle for repairs. However, a week later, Shank discovered the car had a more serious brainbox (ECU) fault.
Though both parties agreed on a full refund of N123 million, Shank says he has yet to receive his money three months on.
Calling out Abana Cars, Shank said:
“I didn’t drive the car once! When it got to Lagos, I noticed the issue. I complained, Abana said it was a small fan problem. I said okay, fix it. Bring it back. One week later, we found out the car had a brainbox issue. We agreed on a refund of 123M. It’s been almost three months. You’re telling me nonsense! You keep tagging someone else to answer me. I need my money now. I’m coming to ABJ @abanacars.”
