Nollywood actress Habibat Jinad has shared details about her complicated relationship with fellow actor Lateef Adedimeji.
According to her, he blocked her for four years.
Jinad stated this in a post on her Instagram page while reflecting on their early days in the film industry.
Jinad explained that she once invited Lateef to star in one of her films, only to be met with a surprising response.
She recalled, “There was a time I wanted to shoot a movie and asked Lateef Adedimeji to be part of it. He told me straight that he only wants to act in movies with fortunate people. I was hurt at first, but I chose to move forward.”
“I tried reaching out to him again, only to discover I had been blocked for about four years. He finally unblocked me in January 2025,” she said, admitting that she never understood why it happened.
Jinad clarified that her decision to speak about the incident was not to create drama but to highlight how fame can sometimes change people in the industry.
