A video of the incident has now gone viral on X.
The video which was shared on social media on Tuesday, October 21, showed the officers forcing a man into their patrol van while also slapping another and forcing him into their patrol van.

In a statement posted via her X handle, the command's spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, said the officers have been identified and summoned.
‘’The Commissioner of Police FCT, strongly condemns such acts of unprofessionalism. All officers depicted in the video have been identified and summoned to the Command HQ for questioning. The complainant(s) are also invited to the Command HQ to give their statement to aid the investigation process.
