Adata Bio-Briggs, a Nigerian lawyer and the immediate past Chairperson of International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Nigeria, Rivers State Branch, has sent out words of advice to people.
She advised people to leave their abusive spouses stating that they don’t need any permission.
She stated this in a Facebook post on Sunday.
“I have been saying this and will keep repeating it. You do not need the permission of an abusive spouse to move out. Just move,” she wrote.
