In this shocking incident, a mother of three sons used a knife to brutally stab and murder her three sons before hiding their bodies in a cupboard.
A heartless mother has been arrested after she used a knife to butcher her three young children to death before dumping their bodies in a cupboard and a suitcase, police said.
According police officers in Phoenix, USA, the 29-year-old woman killed her three children - aged between eight-years-old and two months, before trying to drown herself in her bath.
The names of the kids are yet to be released. According to a report by KPNX, the two older boys aged eight and five, were found in a cupboard having suffered multiple stab wounds.
The baby was later found inside a suitcase and is also believed to have been stabbed to death.
The woman was later found by her brother after she locked herself in the bathroom as she tried to drown herself to death. She was taken to hospital in a critical condition but is her injuries are no longer believed to be life-threatening.
The woman is now in hospital recovering from self-inflicted knife wounds.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the gruesome discovery and a cordon remains in place around the scene.
