Yvonne condemned the preacher’s comment, urging men to stop making assumptions about things they have never experienced.

Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede, has rebuked the lead pastor of Light Nation Church in Abuja, Femi Lazarus over a comment he made about women’s menstrual cycles.

Recall that the clergyman had come under serious scrutiny after a video from one of his sermons surfaced online.

In the video, he claimed that mood swings during menstruation were not caused by biology but by their attitude.

“You are not the first woman to see your period, so your menstruation is not the problem. I have never seen anywhere in the Bible any woman complain about menstrual pain. You are simply not a peaceful person,” he said.

Reacting to the video yesterday, Yvonne slammed the preacher over his comment.

She wrote, “Yesterday I saw a trending video of a clergyman seemingly trivialising menstrual pain.

“If you’ve never experienced the hormonal changes that women go through during their periods, ovulations and pregnancy, please don’t make bold statements about things you haven’t experienced. Men please be kind.”
