Police Commissioner Orders Probe After Officers Were Seen Extorting Kwara Residents

She mentioned that if the officers involved have been identified and found guilty, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.

 
The Kwara State Commissioner of Police, CP Adekimi Ojo has ordered an investigation after officers were seen allegedly extorting money from motorists along Osi-Eruku road in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.
 
This was revealed in a statement by the spokesperson of the command, SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi.
 
Ejire-Adeyemi said the state Commissioner of Police, CP Adekimi Ojo, has ordered an immediate and thorough investigation into the incident.
 
She mentioned that if the officers involved have been identified and  found guilty, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.
