British actor, Jonathan Bailey has been named as the S3xiest Man Alive 2025 by People Magazine.
The openly gay actor earned global prominence for his breakout role on Netflix’s bodice-ripping period drama hit Bridgerton.
Since then, he has graduated on to become a movie star, appearing in mainstream blockbusters like Jurassic World Rebirth, Wicked and the upcoming Wicked: For Good.
On hearing the news that he had taken the title, Bailey told People, “I mean, it’s a huge honor. Obviously, I’m incredibly flattered. And it’s completely absurd.” He added, “I’m quite excited for some friends and family to find out.”
Hailing from Oxfordshire, England, Bailey started as a child actor in the U.K., graduating to become an acclaimed theater performer for the likes of the Royal Shakespeare Company and productions on London’s West End.
