Human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu lambasted the Department of State Services (DSS).
She was reacting to the dismissal of 115 of its personnel, describing the security agency as a symbol of incompetence.

“If incompetence needed an organization to describe it, this DSS will fit aptly,” she wrote.
In a statement released on Tuesday on their official X handle, the DSS warned Nigerians to beware of some of the dismissed officers who still parade themselves as serving operatives.
“The Service finds it necessary to warn citizens of the fraudulent activities of some of these persons still posing as DSS personnel,” the statement read.
“Members of the public are therefore advised to desist from any official dealing with these individuals.”
The DSS also said the names of the dismissed personnel have been published on its official website for public verification.
