Nigerian singer, Omawumi has opened up about her relationships with late rapper Dagrin and late producer, Dokta Frabz.
It was alleged some years ago that Omawumi and Dagrin dated after the release of their collaborative hit ‘Thank God’ in 2009.
Speaking in a recent interview with Jay On Air, Omawumi clarified the rumour.
She explained that she had a cordial relationship with Dagrin and they often hanged out when we was a live.
“Dagrin was my guy, we used to hanged out together. He was a fantastic person,” Omawumi said.
The singer, however, admitted that she dated late producer Dokta Frabz.
“I was drawn to Dokta Frabz because he such a lover of music. He was incredibly talented. He would look into my eyes while singing and I would be cheering.
“And because of that, I was always around him -in his studio. I met most of the music industry figures through Dokta Frabz. We actually dated,” she said.
Dagrin died in an auto crash in April 2010, while Dokta Frabz passed away in 2021.
