The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) reacted following accusations that Regina is a drug addict.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has reacted to claims that it plans to investigate the Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels and her brother, Samuel Ojeogwu, better known as Sammy, over drug-related allegations.

This followed allegations that Regina and his brother are drug addicts.

The claim was made by Regina's estranged husband, Ned Nwoko.

Recall that Regina Daniels had recently admitted to using hard drugs, but turned the accusation against Ned, alleging he orchestrated her addiction as part of a pattern of control and manipulation.

The movie star described her husband’s counter-accusation that her family introduced her to drugs as a calculated distraction from her primary allegations of domestic violence and imprisonment.

She accused the lawmaker of collaborating with his doctor to have her injected with drugs meant for bipolar disorder, stating he preferred her more compliant and sexier.

In response, Ned Nwoko named Sammy and other Nollywood stars as negative influences on Regina, alleging that they enabled her access to drugs.

However, the NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, in a chat with The Cable, dismissed any ongoing or planned action by the agency to probe Sammy.

When questioned on NDLEA’s plans concerning the Daniels family regarding the drug matter, Babafemi stated, “No such thing”.

Sammy, who was recently granted bail, was previously detained following a series of allegations, including criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, theft, and cyberbullying.
