Panic has engulfed the Zuru Emirate in Kebbi State after armed bandits attacked Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School, GGCSS, Maga in Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area, k!lling the Vice Principal and abducting several students.

The number of students kidnapped remains unclear, as authorities are yet to provide official details.
A resident, Murjanatu Hassan Gishiri, who confirmed the incident, said the assailants invaded the school unhindered, unleashing terror and throwing the community into trauma.
“It is a heartbreaking tragedy that has thrown the entire region into deep fear and mourning,” she lamented.
Residents have continued to pray for the repose of the slain vice principal, whom they described as a devoted educator and protector of the children under his care.
Security agencies have not yet issued a formal statement on the attack, but locals are urging urgent intervention from both state and federal authorities to rescue the abducted students and prevent further violence in schools and vulnerable communities across the region.
