There has been mixed reactions and opinions have clashed as the Federal Government plans to build a helipad in Daura - President Muhammadu Buhari's country home. See how Nigerians are reacting:

Social media backlash has trailed the Federal Government’s plan to build a helipad in Daura, Katsina State, to ensure a direct flight for President Muhammadu Buhari whenever he visits his country home.  Twitter users were divided over the necessity of the project and its impact on Nigeria’s economy.

While some supported the president, saying the project is inexpensive, others believe it is unnecessary in view of the government’s change mantra, particularly in reducing cost of governance.
