Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, November 18, Zahra Indimi described her mother's Iddah as one observed with patience and dignity.
Aisha Buhari has concluded her four months and ten days of mourning (Iddah) for her late husband, former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Buhari passed away on July 13, 2025, in London, at the age of 82.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, November 18, Zahra Indimi described her mother's Iddah as one observed with patience and dignity.
She prays that God surrounds her mother with tranquility and mercy as she steps into the new chapter.
“Today marks the completion of her 4 months and 10 days of iddah, a period she observed with patience, dignity, and a deep faith in Allah's decree,” she wrote.
"May Almighty heal her heart, ease her steps into this new chapter, surround her with tranquility and mercy, and bless her with a future filled with strength, clarity, and endless barakah.
“May the Soul of Late President Muhammadu Buhari rest in Aljanntul Firdausi. Amen."
