Popular Nigerian disc jockey Kudirat Gbemisola, professionally known as DJ Kulet, has recounted how she was sexually abused by a family member.
Kulet made this known during her latest appearance on Talk to B show with actress Biola Adebayo.
Narrating how her mother took her for spiritual cleansing for stealing from people, the DJ disclosed that she was m0lested at some of the places she was taken to.
Speaking about her childhood trauma, she explained that she couldn’t speak out for many years after being m0lested by a family member.
“I was m0lested at some of the places that my mum took me to for spiritual cleansing. One of my family m0lested me and I could not speak out for years. My marriage crashed on the second day of our wedding.
“I have started weeping since the second day of our wedding but I endured for 8 months. I didn’t know I was pregnant when my marriage crisis happened, and that was the second time that I will be pregnant in my marriage”.
The entertainer announced separation from her husband, Ohis Emmanuel, in December 2024. She accused him of m0lesting a 13-year-old girl.
