Two cable thieves who attempted to steal electricity wires connected to a transformer, has met more than they bargained for as they got electrocuted in the process.
The electrocuted vandals
According to photos making rounds online and social media, two men in Orji Community, a nearby town in Owerri, the Imo State Capital, met more than they bargained for after attempting to steal electric cables.
It was gathered that at about 2:00am, the vandals attempted to steal electricity wires connected to a transformer, but unfortunately for them they got electrocuted in the process.
Eye witnesses disclosed that the dead cable thieves were unlucky because no sooner had they climbed the transformer to disconnect the cable wires and do away with them, electricity was restored, leading to their instant electrocution.
