Njoku went on to state that people who have not contributed to the development of Etche should not expect him to distribute resources to them.
A viral video has emerged showing Hon. Chima Njoku, Chairman of Etche Local Government Area in Rivers State, stating that he does not want Master’s or PhD holders applying for jobs in his local government.
In the footage circulating widely online, Njoku issued a blunt warning, saying: “Masters and Ph.D holders should go to Port-Harcourt and look for work, they should not come near me.
"My local government is for BSc and WAEC Holders. Don’t ever address me with that professor title attached to your name.”
Njoku went on to state that people who have not contributed to the development of Etche should not expect him to distribute resources to them.
According to him, those who have done nothing for Etche should not expect him to share their money to them, insisting he would only recognise individuals who have actively supported the local government.
