Ukpo made news on social media two days ago after he shared a video claiming that suspected Fulani herdsmen invaded Agboda village where a crusade was meant to hold and disrupted the activities.

Apostle Michael Olowookere, a Nigerian cleric, has criticised officers of the Nasarawa State Police Command for arresting fellow cleric Evangelist Daniel Ukpo.

Ukpo made news on social media two days ago after he shared a video claiming that suspected Fulani herdsmen invaded Agboda village where a crusade was meant to hold and disrupted the activities.

The video he shared showed Christian faithfuls running. In his words

‘’We came in for a crusade here and as I talking to you, some herdsmen invaded the place. You can see the youths. Everywhere, there is unrest''.

The video made the rounds on social media with Nigerians condemning the activities of the invaders.

Apostle Olowookere accused the government of going after Christians but failing to go after Bandits who are boasting of carrying out attacks on Nigerians. He called on all Christians to demand the release of Evangelist Ukpo.

This afternoon, an X user shared a post claiming that Ebagelist Ukpo has now been arrested and has been with the police for over 12 hours.

The Nasarawa state police command is yet to comment on this development.
