A Soldier's Salary Is 150k After 20 Years Of Service - Nigerian Soldier Breaks Down Alleged Army Salary Structure (Video)

He claimed that there are other benefits ranging from N20-25k depending on where one serves.

A viral video has emerged showing a man said to be a Nigerian soldier, detailing the “Nigerian military pay structure.”

According to him, a new army recruit gets paid N104,000 and that this increases to 112 after 5 years.

He explained that after 10 years in the force, the salary turns to 115,000 and then increases to 125,000 naira if one spends 15 years in the military.

He claimed that there are other benefits ranging from N20-25k depending on where one serves.

Tori News has not independently confirmed the veracity of these claims. However, the video has made the rounds on social media,sparking a lot of discussion on the salary structure. 

His revelation comes amid the uprising terrorism and banditry cases in the country and the role the military plays in combating such vices especially when they are underpaid.
