The lawyer stressed that the November 20, 2025 judgment was an indictment on the whole Igbo people, and not on Kanu as an individual.

Recall that Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja, convicted and sentenced Nnamdi Kanu to life imprisonment.

“Even as I had publicly and severally done this in the past, let me again thank Ndigbo (leaders and the led, at home and in diaspora) for the fraternity and support you’ve extended to Nnamdi Kanu since this ordeal began in 2015. It proves that Igbos are united behind Kanu. Yes,”
he wrote.
