A UK-based “IJGB” lady has expressed her amazement at the sheer number of G-Wagons she keeps spotting in Lekki, describing the luxury SUV as almost a uniform for Lagos’ big boys.
Note: “IJGB” stands for “I Just Got Back” and refers to Nigerians returning home from abroad for the holidays.
According to her, seeing four or five G-Wagons in a single day has become normal in Lekki — a sharp contrast to the UK, where she says spotting even one is rare.
She noted that while she doesn’t see many BMWs, Mercedes cars dominate the roads, with G-Wagons leading the pack.
