An eyewitness has narrated the shocking incident that took place this morning in which a woman was crushed to death by a train in Lagos.

A sad incident this morning claimed the life of a woman. According to information by an eyewitness identified as Felix Olaitan, the woman died while trying to cross the railway. The incident took place near Ajayi Farm area of Ikeja.

He wrote: “I was on my way to the office this morning when I saw people gathered at Ajayi Farm area of Ikeja. Laying on the floor is the corpse of a woman who wanted the cross the railway but perhaps was carried away and engulfed in thoughts and was crushed by the oncoming train.
Eyewitnesses say she only came to visit her daughter that just gave birth and only saw a visitor off to the express in the wee hours of today."
