Turaki, who was escorted by the full NWC and a few selected state chairmen, arrived at Jonathan’s Maitama office in Abuja on Tuesday at about 5:45 p.m., travelling in six SUVs.

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Tanimu Turaki, SAN, held a closed-door meeting with former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Turaki, who was escorted by the full NWC and a few selected state chairmen, arrived at Jonathan’s Maitama office in Abuja on Tuesday at about 5:45 p.m., travelling in six SUVs.

Earlier, it was reported that the Tanimu Turaki-led leadership of the PDP in Rivers State recently collapsed its structure into the Aaron Chukwuemeka-led faction, pledging allegiance to Nyesom Wike.

This development comes less than a week after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, failed to recognise the Kabiru Turaki-led National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party.
