The mutilated body parts of mother and daughter were discovered at a suspected herbalist's den in Osun, in what is suspected to be a ritual k!lling.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer, Lasisi Oluwamayokun, and her daughter, Adesewa, who were k!lled by ritualists, have been laid to rest in Osogbo, Osun State.
The burial service was held on Friday, January 9, 2025 amidst tears and anguish.
Oluwamayokun, 38, and her 11-year-old daughter were reported missing on the morning of Sunday, November 2, 2025 after they left their residence at the Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, and never returned.

The Osun Police Command commenced an investigation and arrested Victor Fajemirokun, the manfriend of the deceased, alongside two herbalists, Gboyega Daramola and Sunday James, in connection with the m8rder.
Fajemirokun, who was traced and arrested in Ghana, confessed to luring the victims to their d3ath in the hands of the herbalists.
At the burial service held at the burial ground of St John’s Anglican Church, Ita-Olookan, Osogbo, her colleagues and family members could not hold back tears as the remains were lowered.
