A Nigerian medical doctor, Baridueh Badon, has taken to social media to highlight the benefits he enjoys after paying 42% tax to the German government.
Posting on X, Baridueh mentioned that asides the many benefits, whenever he loses his job, he gets 60% of his salary from the government and they help him with getting a new job.
He also mentioned that for every child he has in Germany, they get paid €250 monthly until they turn 18.
After listing the many benefits, he went on to ask Nigerians what they benefit from government after paying their taxes. He posed the question days after the government introduced the reformed tax laws.
