Popular Nigerian actor, Eso Dike has revealed that it took him more than seven years in the entertainment industry to earn his first one million naira.

In an interview with Chude, he spoke about the slow progress in his early career and the patience required to reach that milestone.

Dike, who is also a trained lawyer, studied law at the University of Benin and completed the Nigerian Law School before committing fully to acting.

He began his career in television, appearing in shows like Tinsel, and later gained wider recognition for roles in The Smart Money Woman, Game On, and Ricordi.

In recent years, he has appeared in Nollywood films that achieved commercial success.

Reflecting on his journey, Dike said that while earning his first million was a long process, he never let the challenges show outwardly.

He said: “It took me more than 7 years to make my first 1 million Naira bulk as an actor.

“Like before I got one million naira, I mean one million naira, my brother it wasn’t too long again.

"But again, I am not a protrayer of suffering. So even if I’m suffering, you won’t know. But before I got one million naira bulk, it took some time. Probably eight or seven years.”
