Goodluck Jonathan's embattled cousin and his wife will be arraigned today in Abuja over alleged payment of $40 million into their company by the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA).

SaharaReporters has exclusively reported that Roberts Azibaola, the embattled cousin of former President Goodluck Jonathan, his wife, Stella and their firm, One Plus Holdings Nigeria Limited, will be arraigned today in Abuja over alleged payment of $40 million into their company by the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA).
It was reliably gathered that Stella was arrested by the operatives of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and taken into custody to join her husband in preparation for their arraignment before a Federal High Court in Abuja.
The couple are facing the seven-count charge as filed by Sylvanus Tahir and Jirbo Francis from the Legal and Prosecution Department of the EFCC.
It was further gathered that the $40 million was traced to a bank in London as it was wired through Citibank N A Canada Square Canary in Wharf London E 145 LB into the account of One Plus Holdings Nigeria Limited.

Reliable sources revealed that the $40 million came from the account of the Special Services Office of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
According to the sources, "the Special Services Office has a joint account with the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) and some security agencies, which was managed by ONSA."
Meanwhile, in one of the charges, EFCC accused Azibaola of spending N650 million of the $40 million to buy a plot of land in Maitama District in Abuja on May 27, 2015, about two days to handover date to President Muhammadu Buhari.
The $40 million was meant for the supply of tactical communication kits for special services.
