Nigerian Singer, Portable Opens Up On His Prison Experience, Says Nigeria’s Problems Are Overwhelming (Video)

Speaking in a video, the singer said the things he went through were so intense he understands why Afrobeat Pioneer and Activist Fela Anikulapo d!ed.

 

Portable, the controversial Nigerian singer, has spoken up about his recent experience in prison.

The singer described the experience as deeply distressing and overwhelming.

Speaking in a video, the singer said the things he went through were so intense he understands why Afrobeat Pioneer and Activist Fela Anikulapo died.

“Wetin I don face even 2Face never face am. I now understand why Fela d!£d early, it's because of Nigeria problems"

Portable also stated that going forward, anyone who offends him will be dealt with through proper channels, saying he would no longer handle issues personally.

Following his comments, his management released a statement confirming that concerns surrounding the artiste had been addressed through the appropriate channels.

The statement noted that matters have been resolved and acknowledged the patience and understanding of the public.
