President Tinubu appointed the immediate past governor of Rivers State as FCT Minister, even though he is not a member of the APC.
Protesters have stormed the national headquarters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja, calling on President Bola Tinubu to remove Nyesom Wike as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.
Recall that President Tinubu appointed the immediate past governor of Rivers State as FCT Minister, even though he is not a member of the APC.
Wike has been at loggerheads with members of his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
It was also reported that he recently extended this confrontation to the National Secretary of the APC, whom he warned to steer clear of Rivers politics.
