Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has shared a testimony describing how God reconciled her with her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, leading to his reunion with their son, King Andre.

In a heartfelt church testimony, Tonto revealed that she endured “ten years of w@r, loneliness, public sh@me, and her son not knowing his father.”

She said the pain she experienced was not only personal but also affected many others.

On how Churchill came back into their son's life, Tonto said her son had written in his prayer request that God should please allow the embassy release his passport to his mum. She said when she saw the prayer request, she knew it was time to tell her son the truth about his passport. According to her, the passport is with her ex-husband.

‘’I had told my son that his passport was with one embassy. I had never told him the truth at all. The truth as that the passport was with his father and I and his father had been in a very very tox!c demonic battle and its been public.''

She said to her amazement, two days after seeing her son's prayer request, Churchill reached out to her and said he wants to send their son's documents to her including their son's passport.

She said this incident led to her opening up about Churchill to their son.

‘’I sat him down and said ‘’Have you ever wondered where your dad is? He said Yes I have but I just did not ask you because I feel like you do not want to talk about it. And I said okay.

I said I am very sorry but what I am about to tell you might really hurt you. He said ‘Mummy, talk’ So I told him a short story that a man and a woman met themselves, had you and it became war'' and he was like ‘’really'' and I said 'yea, we were so b!tter, so tox!c and that in the midst of this things, it affected you and I am sorry.

And he looked at me and said ‘so have you forgiven him? I didn’t answer and he said if you haven't forgiven him, I have forgiven him but I am upset with for not telling me but it's okay''

This is 10 years of war, of public shame, ten years without a boy knowing his father, tens years of lack of love, of b!tterness, of h@tred…everything just dissolved in front of my child and I found my child holding my hands because I as crying.

I was just praying for his father. I prayed for that man. I prayed for that man. Presidents and ex-presidents had interfered and I said No! I said No! because of how b!tter I had been.''

She said now she addresses Churchill properly, respects him and speaks to him as a friend.
